The speech here reminded me of how Cohen the Barbarian planned (and then succeeded) to take over the Agatean Empire in Terry Pratchett's Interesting Times. The Silver Horde, a group of very experienced and very elderly barbarians led by Cohen, sneaks into the capital city while all the military/police forces are engaged elsewhere and kidnaps the emperor, but instead of creating "an empire for criminals, by criminals," they adapt themselves to civilization in order to enjoy a well-earned retirement. —Dr Ishmael 16:54, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
